The 2022 Heartland Church Planting Road Tour
Converge is a movement that is relationally devoted to one another. These valuable relationships compel us to visit our church plants throughout the Heartland District. I am blessed to meet with the North Dakota planters throughout the year, and I also make an annual trek to see our other planters “Down South.” It is a joy for me to connect with them and hear about God’s kingdom work.
On a recent trip, I was able to meet with a number of our planters. As we talked, I was reminded of the caliber of pastors God has given our district. These men love the church, their city, and the Gospel. Each of them is laboring hard to bring the message of Jesus to a lost and hurting world, and they appreciate the support of theHeartland Districtand its churches.
As I visited with our planters, I asked each of them what God was doing in their churches and how we could pray for them. Here are their responses.
Robert and Shelly Conn, Steve
God is doing great things through their prayer efforts. Several churches in this Omaha suburb have satellite campuses with predominantly video teaching, and they are seeing people hungry for live preaching! God is using their physical presence to reach new people.
Please pray for Arrows Church as they have many unchurched people visiting them. Pray that Arrows can minister effectively in a rapidly growing part of the country.

The Fount is taking the next step in church development by installing its first deacons! Also, they have a person who is stepping in to lead the deacons in effective ministry.
Please pray God would send believers to the church who are ready and willing to do ministry work and help grow the church’s outreach to the people of Kansas City.

Gospel Life Church is excited about the renewed vision and alignment after completing a strategic planning weekend this summer with Jim Capaldo.
Please pray for Gospel Life Church to gain traction and momentum in the Delano neighborhood of Wichita, where they meet.
Pray they can see people from the Delano neighborhood start to connect to the church.

2 Pillars is expanding their influence by helping other church plants become established churches.
Please pray for Pastor Todd’s sabbatical rest. Also, pray they can identify and invest in potential church planters.
