RENEW 2024: A Relaxing, Refreshing Time in Lincoln

The weekend after Easter, 26 ministry couples gathered in Lincoln, NE for the annual RENEW retreat for pastors and their wives. Dr. Tim Adrian of Westside Baptist Church shared messages from the Word—messages that enriched and refreshed our pastors in the gospel. Chris Atkins of Center Baptist Church led worship through singing. 

The relaxed schedule provided time for fellowship and rest, with some delicious food on Saturday night!

Dana Olson, Converge Heartland Director of Prayer First Heartland, led a special time of prayer Saturday night. Couples prayed together for various needs, and then everyone joined in prayer over Jim and Kari Capaldo as they prepare for the new ministry God has for them with Christar.

Our ministry couples look forward to this weekend each year. We hope more couples will be able to join us for RENEW 2025 on April 25–27!
